Erin was the sweetest girl. She didn’t let the bad that happened early in her life affect her. She was loving to every human she met and every fur friend. Her gentle spirit and soft kisses will be missed by her family and her fur brother Cylo.

Vada, the beautiful, timid, furball who became the love our lives crossed over the Rainbow Bridge last night. We can't thank GSRA volunteers enough, in particular Veronica Vesligaj, who in 2013 pulled this scared little lady from the shelter and ultimately, brought her into our home for adoption. You gave us such a wonderful gift! Vada has taught us much and given us so much joy over the years. Miguel and I and her adopted sister, Anya, GRSA 2014, are struggling without our fluffball hanging out with us. Words can't express how heavy our hearts are right now.

A gold heart stopped beating. Two brilliant eyes are now resting. The most noble soul left. Vada-until we see you again- you will always live in our hearts.

Sadly we said good bye to our sweet boy Julius. He was only with us for 6 years and 10 months but we had so many fun adventures. As long as he was with his people he was up for anything whether it was riding on a pontoon boat or chilling at a sports bar. We love you son!

Mouse arrived in our family in March of 2009 from GSDR at meet and great at petsmart in garner N.C. She was a wonderful joy always loving and goofy and playful. She crossed the rainbow bridge March 9,2021, we will miss her so much and will never forget all the love and happiness she brought to our family. May our sweet Moumou Rest in loving peace , in our hearts forever . Thank you GSDR for bringing our girl into our lives

We adopted Coal from GSRA in 2010. We lost him today unexpectedly after a brief illness. He has been the most loving, fun, loyal, and protective dog. He absolutely completed our family and our hearts are broken to have lost him. His favorite things were his people and his ball. There will never be another dog like Coal, and we are so grateful that he rescued us.
