Kenza
Baby bear, my snuggle bunny. I miss you so much. Not a day goes by where I don't miss you terribly. It's hard to get up, its hard to do anything. I miss your smell, i miss your hugs, your kisses when I wake up. Where is my partner when I go get a coffee? Who will look at me with a smile and a tilted head when i sing and dance like a goofball? Where are my paws that hug me so tightly? You are my whole heart, my reason for being. People say, why are you so sad? Because you are and always will be my baby, they'll never know that you saved my life over and over. Anyone that will ever love me, owes you. Because you make me. You make it real. My hope, my dreams of life...you were right there. I dreamed of holding you when you were old and gray. I want you to be happy. I want you to be safe. I love you Kenza, I always will. Forever and a day. Love Mommy.

Kimber

I am forever appreciative to GSRA for the opportunity to love Kimber. Although I was familiar with GSDs I had never worked with a Belgian Mallinois before, and, boy was I in for a treat! Kimber was every bit of energy that Mallinois' are known for. She loved to stay on the go! She immediately took to her off-leash training and won the heart of her instructor as well. She was an amazing blessing in my life and I treasure my memories of her. She truly was the sweetest dog, she loved people and especially adored little children. I enjoyed sharing my life with her and she always looked out for me. I thank the Lord that He gave me a sweet angel as a companion for many years. She was my best friend and brought me so much joy. I miss her snuggles and antics of messing with the cat. Thank you, Kimber, you touched so many hearts with your warm personality and abundant love. You are forever free to swim and run.

King
King came to GSRA almost 3 months ago. He was left at a shelter by his owner at the age of 13. King did not do well in the shelter, but thankfully only had to spend a week there before GSRA took him in. For 3 months King lived with Sharon and her family. There he knew warmth, love, soft beds and fun. King died this morning and we are all saddened by the news. King, we are glad you graced us with your love for 3 months and we will miss you.

King
April 4, 2013 9:53 am Our boy King: 2001 - 2013 The intense gaze of perfectly almond shaped amber eyes are set deeply in his noble head. His velvet ears stand completely erect, certain of his surroundings at all times. This dog of keen intelligence, bold spirit and fierce loyalty entered our home and stole our hearts. His girth is intimidating; large boned svelte perfection of his breed that catches every eye and turns every head in his wake. Covered with a thick glossy coat of black, tan and sliver strands he could be the envy of any creature. His full, lush, graceful tail sweeps the room in display of his great joy being in the presence of his humans. He adores them, revels in every loving touch from them, waits patiently daily for them, looks to them for all things of comfort, follows their every step, delights at their feet in the night and never lets them far from his sight. This is our German Shepherd Dog named King. We rescued this outstanding senior boy from a life of loneliness and neglect. Our hearts are heavy as we lost our beloved King today. How we wish he could have come into our lives many years ago that he may have had the love and care he was so deserving of. However, we are grateful to have had a small portion of King’s life. We are confident that we shared the best and most important time with him, if a GSD remembers . . . we think they do. RIP sweet King.

Kodiman
This is to my "main man" who passed away on June 4, 2010, from Degenerative Myleopathy and complications from colitis. The GSD is like no other breed, a self-proclaimed guardian and shadow to all. When you were in the backseat of our car, men would honk at us and scream out " that's one good-looking dog you got there" or "he's beautiful". My boy, I miss you so....my heart is breaking every night with tears......I am to dedicate the rest of my life as a volunteer to save as many of these faithful and loyal friends. God Bless those that spend their lives saving our beloved GSD.
