Thor is a BIG boy! Big might actually be an understatement, weighing in at 94lbs. Thor is oozing with friendliness and a general happy go lucky nature. He is very handsome and is truly the definition of mans best friend. He is very well rounded and overall a very nice dog. He loves belly rubs! Thor gets along well with other submissive female dogs. When Thor went for his neuter and heartworm test, it was discovered that he has a bacterial infection called Ehrlichia canis. This infection is more common in German Shepherd breed dogs. Thor does not have any symptoms of this infection at this time and will always test positive in his bloodwork due to antibodies. Thor's adopter will need to do annual bloodwork and 4DX testing as well as keep him on monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Thor is also heartworm positive. Foothills Humane Society will cover the costs and treatment of Thor's heartworms until he is negative. If you are interested in Thor, please fill out an adoption application either online through our website, www.foothillshumanesociety.org PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A GSRA DOG. ONLY CONTACT THIS INDIVIDUAL ABOUT THIS DOG. THE CONTACT HAS NO AFFILIATION WITH GSRA AND GSRA CANNOT ANSWER QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS DOG.
