My name is Mora and I’m 4 years old.  I’m a long haired shepherd with a beautiful silky coat.  My foster mom says I’m a combination of a super model, professional ball player and rocket scientist.   I walk well on a leash, enjoy car rides and taking adventures.

I know my basic commands and am very eager to learn new things.  I take treats gently from your hand and am learning to be patient and wait for my food.  My foster mom says I am very smart and when treats are involved I can train all day.  Sometimes my foster mom wonders who is training who.  I’m a typical female shepherd so I know my own mind but I am loving and very sweet.

I like dogs and hanging out with my foster pack.  I’ve been to the park on pack walks with other dogs and I did great.  I’m learning how to settle when I’m out of my crate and need some supervision but, I am not destructive.   I would like to be an only dog so I can get lots of love and attention that I never got when I was a puppy.  I love petting and affection.

From my foster mom:  Mora is a wonderful girl.  She has come so far and learning more each day.  She is learning to trust and starting to enjoy life.  Mora is a happy girl, very confident with great nerves and a wonderful temperament.   At times, she can be pushy but that's because she is a confident girl but, with light verbal correction she listens.   She is very affectionate and super sweet.  Mora is a beautiful girl and needs an  EXPERIENCED HANDLER THAT HAS OWNED PURE BRED GERMAN SHEPHERDS  and understands the intelligence of the breed.  Mora requires exercise each day which includes ball play in her fenced backyard.  She is an excellent companion and will sit next to you while you are gardening. Did I mention Mora LOVES vegetables?  Mora is good with children, BUT WE WILL NOT PLACE HER IN A HOME WITH CHILDREN UNDER 16.

Mora is  spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations, on heartworm preventative, crate trained, leash and basic obedience trained and house broken.  If you are interested in this beautiful, affectionate girl please fill out an online application at the  https://form.jotform.com/bmsr/application   If you have any questions, you can contact Donna J. at  BMSR1313@gmail.com   .   WE WILL ONLY CONSIDER ADOPTERS WHO HAVE WORKED AND TRAINED PURE BRED GERMAN SHEPHERDS, NO CHILDREN UNDER 16 AND A SECURE FENCED IN YARD.   OUR ADOPTION AREA IS NC and SC.
