Babe belonged to my friend, who died unexpectedly and other than the OC Shelter there was no one to take her. She had never been socialized or walked in neighborhood. A 20' line was how she went potty.

My friend did a great job on house breaking, crate training and house manners. I can trust her in the house loose, she can be crated for a few hours while you run errands. She has been good with a friend's 2yo toddler. Babe is living with my 3 German Shorthair Pointers on 7 acres and is becoming more relaxed with new people coming to the house.

She is UTD on shots and HW medication (Trifixis) every month. Babe would do well with a single person. If a family, she would need people with patience to help her acclimate to children moving around fast and screaming. Children would need to be supervised and taught to respect the dog, not grabbing her fur, hugging her around her neck or climbing on her. Babe is an indoor dog, she is not a dog who should live outside. A good size backyard is important for her physical and mental health. She loves playing with squeak toys and balls. She had never been taught to play ball outside. As she has never seen or met a cat, a cat and small animal free home would be best.

A home visit will need to be done before her adoption papers are signed.  Please contact Kathy with SEGSP Rescue for more information and re-homing fee.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A GSRA DOG. ONLY CONTACT THIS INDIVIDUAL ABOUT THIS DOG. THE CONTACT HAS NO AFFILIATION WITH GSRA AND GSRA CANNOT ANSWER QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS DOG.
