Hey there! Miss Zuri checking in! I am a very pretty black and tan Shepherd, I’m about 2-3 years old and
a medium-size shepherd, weighing approximately 65 pounds. I have a beautiful shiny coat. I was picked up as a stray so not a whole lot is known about my past. That doesn’t matter, all that counts at this point is the future. I’m very happy that I was proud to the rescue and they told me they were going to find me a home/family of my very own! How exciting!
I love my people, and I love attention. I am a bit excitable, but a lot of this is very new to me. I love to be petted and will shower you with kisses. I’m not too sure about the tennis ball, but I love soft toys. I will carry them around with me very carefully. I am a medium energy girl, I like to run around a little bit, but it’s more important for me to be near my people. I am improving on my leash manners and I’m not pulling so much anymore. I am learning to be patient.
I would prefer to be an only dog if possible. I can get along with some male dogs, but I can be a little pushy. I think I have more than enough love to entertain a family all by myself.
I am crate trained and housebroken, and I do ride well in the car. I am eager to meet you to see if we can be a fit. I do still have to be treated for some pesky heartworm’s, but I am looking forward to meeting some potential families so that I will be ready to go once I complete my treatment. If you think that I might be a match for you please reach out soon!
PS, I am a little bit camera shy. I do spend a lot of time smiling but I get very anxious around the camera so my pictures are not reflecting my true personality!
