TRIGGER ~9 years old. Good with kids and dogs. Cats TBD.
GSRA adopts to residents of VA, NC, and SC only
They call me a senior dog, but that just means I have lots of experience in the fine art of companionship! My strengths are excellent people (and dog) skills, keeping up on your morning jog, catching treats and the tennis ball, and being extra cuddly in the cold.
Even though my résumé is very impressive, I do pull on the leash sometimes but with proper leash training and patience, I will be the best-est girl.
I will do best in a home with a fenced yard so I can run and sniff around safely. You see, I still got some good energy and curiosity in me even in my fine age. I love playing with my foster brothers, just chasing each other and being silly, or chasing the tennis ball. I don’t need plenty of exercise but it makes me extremely happy. I also prefer a home away from a busy street so we can go about our walks safely. I love cars so much that I just want to chase them sometimes and I was told that isn’t very safe.
When you have to go to work, you can trust me to roam freely around the house because I am not destructive and I like to stay in my space. Crates are okay too if you’d like. Also, peeing in the house is only for amateurs! I am committed to keeping our home clean.
My at-home skills include following you around, napping peacefully, and silently watching the neighbors from the window. I love our neighbors, humans and dogs alike! I even love the mailman! I’m not so sure about the neighbor’s cat though--she seems kinda shady.
I love attention and affection. I wag my tail at everyone, no matter how big or small, and politely greet them. Even though I am good with children, please remember that I am big and very strong so the very small ones may not be the best playmate for me.
On top of me being Miss Congeniality, I also have a great smile that will surely make you smile too! Now it’s your turn to submit an application! I am looking forward to hear from you too!
