I have a very sweet and playful 20-month-old that I need to find a home for. Callie came to us the first of January from a gentleman who trains dogs, he had been diagnosed for a second time with cancer and knew that he couldn't give her the attention she would need especially with puppies coming. Callie is very trainable, playful, protective, and attentive girl who bonded very easily with me and my husband. Callie had her litter of eight puppies at the end of January and was a great mother. She weened them herself and they were able to go to their forever homes at six weeks with no problems. We unfortunately cannot keep her because our house causes her anxiety which we thought would resolve itself with time given all the new circumstances she had faced with a new home and then her first litter. She would be happiest with a couple or single lady that can give her lots of attention and doesn't have a lot of traffic in their home. Callie loves to play and run outside, she has fallen in love the fetching things and kennels during the day while I am at work then sleeps on her bed in my room at night. The anxiety comes especially on the weekends when all our kids with the grandchildren come and Callie doesn’t like all the noise and constant movement. We want her to have a home that doesn’t give her anxiety but that isn’t our home. Please help me find this sweet girl a happy place.
