Hi everyone! My name is Chase, I'm just under 1 year of age and am an affectionate, high energy, smart boy! I live with a 7 year old lab mix and have experience in doggie daycare, though I do play rough. As with most young pups I'm pretty rambunctious. I love to run and play, but I can go into my down stay and play with my chew toys and entertain myself too. I love to try to be alpha around whomever I can, so I can not be placed in a home with children under 12 years old. I need a strong handler who has experience with difficult Shepherds. I haven't met too many cats, though I chase things so I am not sure how I would do with one. I love to play ball and I ride well in the car.
I would do very well with someone who wants to work with me daily and I would do great if I had a "job" - even if that job is finding a cookie in the backyard. I listen very well to commands when I am in the right environment. I am great in my crate, I need a lot of attention, and I am very devoted. I still use my mouth and teeth a lot to communicate so I need an owner that will work more with me on that and an owner who will take the time to build my self confidence.
