Hey There! My name is Dutchie, and I am a super sweet puppy looking for my forever home. I was brought to the shelter as a puppy ...I had just been diagnosed with parvo. A kind volunteer took a chance on me and nursed me back to health and then reached out to the rescue for help. I seem to be a dutch shepherd, but since I am a puppy we do not know for sure. I have a fantastic personality, and that is the most important factor in picking a new family member! I have a very distinctive and pretty brindle coat....and my ears...well, let's just say that they add to my character. They kind of do what they want...sometimes one stands, sometimes not....there is no telling what the final ear configuration will be! I am quite a stunning girl! I will probably max out at around 50 -55 pounds.

I am currently about 6 months old, and around 35 pounds. I am battling a little patch of demodex mange around one of my eyes (don't worry, it is not contagious, it just makes me look a bit funny. I will be fine). I am a super friendly girl, and I am also very smart. I love all people! I need to work on my manners...mom says I need to learn to curb my enthusiasm! I love to fun and play, and I like to jump up on my human. In my defense, I am low to the ground right now, so I jump up to be closer...foster mom is not impressed by this. I love to play with other dogs! I love to play tag and chase. I am very nimble and quick. I am quite athletic and can jump and change directions when running...I am a ninja!! I am a confident and outgoing pup that would love a family to share adventures with! I am enthusiastic and always up for new experiences.

I would love a family who will be committed to working with me on basic obedience training and possibly something more advanced like agility. I am very smart, and I would love a job! Of course if you would like a running partner, I am up for that as well! I am crate trained and housebroken as well! My super short coat is also a great thing! I do not shed much compared to a conventional shepherd...I do not have the double coat. I am just a great overall dog. I would love a fenced yard so I can run and play, and would really like another dog that is willing to play with me and will be tolerant of my rough and tumble antics!
