Rein is in Raleigh NC. I got her from a police dog trainer who claimed she was dropped off to him by a former breeder. She was skinny and Heartworm positive. But we caught it early enough. She had 2 injections at once and she did so well recovering with me. She was healthy and happy until my husband cheated on me. Resulting in an out of state psychotic episode that forced me to move back home with my parents. They have a dog aggressive put bull. So i asked my ex to keep her until i can find my own place. Last week I visited for the first time and she is not being cared for. She is over weight and there is something weakening her back legs. She could hardly get up the stairs when I was there. He is a cop and works 12 hour days. Then when he is home she is locked in a kennel. I want to bring her home but I'm only a Temp at my job and I'm not sure when I will be able to afford to be out on my own again. I love this dog with all my heart. I re-homed 2 of my boys from the move and i just couldn't give Rein up. I've been through so much with her. She just wants to be loved. No high energy or destruction. She loves her toys and will take them away from other dogs. But that's all that's "wrong" with her. She just wants to be next to you and be with you. She's such a kind soul.
