BRONN ~2 years old.  Good with large dogs and cats. Not good with small dogs.  Not good with kids.

GSRA adopts to residents of VA, NC, and SC only

Mr Bronn is an over-grown puppy who has had a rough life. His mouth keeps getting him into trouble so he will be placed very carefully and with great thought. Applicants must send a separate email explaining why they think their home is what Mr. Bronn needs.  Please send email to gsrarescue@gmail.com with "Interested in Bronn" in the subject line.  This will then get forwarded to the appropriate person.

Bronn is housebroken, crate trained, and a handsome devil with a severe case of Peter Pan immaturity. His great looks and large size can attract people BEFORE they know his needs. He has the mental maturity of a six month old puppy!! Bronn can walk very nicely on leash around my quiet neighborhood now. That has taken a long time and loads of patience to accomplish.
Bronn is very excited when he goes to new places. He screeches, pulls on his leash and can act the fool. It can be difficult to get him to calm down. He needs someone who understands the breed, has experience with difficult dogs and has calm, patient energy. He responds to leadership not dominance.

Mr Bronn is a bit of a bully when first meeting other dogs, big doofus! After a few days and a chance to calm down, he can play well and does with my pack of dogs. He has learned that cats come with pointy ends and will generally respect them and give them space. Bronn likes people but because of his exuberance and size I'm choosing not to place him in a home with children under 18. No exceptions sorry. He would do well with a companion dog who would play with him at his energy level. A 6' fence is a must.
