My name is Mora and I’m 3 1/2 years old. I’m a long haired shepherd and a big girl. My foster mom says I’m a combination of a super model, professional ball player and rocket scientist. I walk well on a leash, enjoy car rides and taking adventures. I can play ball all day long.
I didn’t have a great life before I came to my foster home. I lived in a backyard and didn’t have much food to eat or water to drink. I still can’t believe that I get fed twice a day and my foster mom puts my meals in a special bowl so I don’t gulp my food. I love treats and I’m learning to take them gently. I have a VERY high food drive.
I know my basic commands and am very eager to learn new things. My foster mom says I am very smart and when treats are involved I can train all day. I can be stubborn and pushy so I needs someone who can channel my energy and has patience and enjoys training! Some days my foster mom wants to know who is training who.
I like dogs and hanging out with my foster pack. I’m learning how to settle when I’m out of my crate and need supervision but, I am not destructive. I would like to be an only dog so I can get lots of love and attention that I never got when I was a puppy. I love petting and affection. Did I tell you that I have a beautiful coat that’s silky soft?
From my foster mom: Mora is a wonderful girl. She has come so far in a short time and learning more each day.
She will need a family that will continue her training and socialization.
Mora is a happy girl, very confident with great nerves and wonderful temperament. At times, she can be pushy. She is very affectionate and super sweet. She is a great dog with a lot of potential but needs an ULTRA EXPERIENCED HANDLER THAT HAS OWNED AND TRAINED PURE BRED GERMAN SHEPHERDS and understands the intelligence and energy level of the breed. Mora requires EXERCISE, she loves to play fetch and take walks. Mora is good with children, BUT WE WILL NOT PLACE HER IN A HOME WITH CHILDREN UNDER 16 because of her love of food.
NO EXCEPTIONS!
Mora is
spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations, on heartworm preventative, crate trained, leash and basic obedience trained and house broken. If you are interested in this beautiful, affectionate girl please fill out an online application at the
