German Shepherd Dog : : Female (not spayed, but will be before adoption)

Four years old female dark German Shepherd. She is house trained and knows basic commands (sit, lay). Would love to keep her, but she is very high energy and owners don't have a fenced yard; she got out and was hit by a car (she is fully recovered but owners don't want it to happen again).
She needs to go to a home with a large fenced yard where she can run. She does well with other big dogs but she has a high prey drive so she chases small animals (cats, small dogs, rabbits). Her parents were working dogs so she is highly intelligent and has high protective instincts but has not had any formal guard training. Again, she is very high energy so she doesn't do well with small children (she will knock them over) but she may do well with older kids/teens.
She is not fixed but has never been bred (owners would prefer not to have her bred). Owners really just want her to go to a good home with a fence preferably with other big dogs for her to play with and hopefully someone with more experience caring for a shepherd.
