Volunteer

Since 1992, German Shepherd Rescue and Adoptions (GSRA) has united over one thousand abandoned dogs with loving forever homes. In 2004 alone, our volunteers rescued one hundred dogs who would have otherwise been euthanized at high kill shelters or left in abusive situations.
Our volunteers come from many different backgrounds, occupations and expertise to help save these precious lives, with each making an immeasurable contribution.

To see how exciting and rewarding volunteering for the GSRA can be, please complete our Volunteer Application. We thank you for your willingness to help us in our rescue efforts.

Andrea P

Andrea has been volunteering with the German Shepherd Rescue for as long as we all can remember. She makes it her priority to get to know each of the dogs personally so that she can help place them in the best environment to live out their happy ever after. She has a soft spot for the older German Shepherds and those with medical problems and makes it her mission to see to it that these dogs are not left behind due to circumstances out of their control. Andrea is an integral part of German Shepherd Rescue. Thank you Andrea for all that you do for the rescue and more importantly for German Shepherds.
