Dexter is now a full-fledged member of the Knight household. The only one who has a problem with him is Tao, our male Siamese cat, who refuses to talk to Dexter. Tao is simply scared of Dexter; Dexter just wants to play. The female cats have no problem with him; when they get tired of him following them around and him looking at them longingly, they just go to their room. Occasionally they box him in the face with a declawed paw - must make them feel better but has no effect on him!

He has enjoyed hiking immensely, and our Thanksgiving included 9 family members, altogether in the house with the two big dogs, and he was a perfect gentleman. He's chewed up all of Dolly's toys, but we have finally found a couple of indestructible toys. He doesn't chew anything BUT toys, thankfully.

Thanks so much again, and if anybody ever gets down this way, I have now hiked all of DuPont State Forest and I'm in the process of authoring a guide book, so come on down and go hiking with Dexter, Dolly & me!
