Lexi - 2 years old. Good with kids, dogs and cats. Apartment appropriate. Needs a companion animal.
Meet Lexi loo hoo, GSRA's very own mini shepherd. It has been a joke around my foster home that I was thrown in the dryer and popped out at about 40 lbs! I was rescued from a kill shelter and not even that experience dampened my love of life. I will give you kisses and roll over for belly rubs anytime. I am a fun loving girl now that I feel oh, so much better. My current foster home has 2 foster canine siblings, mom, dad, and 6 human children ranging in age from 10-20 years old. I love the action of a home with children but will do well without them too. I stay inside most of my day and have a fenced backyard for me and my siblings to play in. My schedule is pretty easy, I eat 2 times a day, then sleep in the bedroom with my foster parents/canine siblings during the night. It's really up to you if you want me to snuggle but I'm up to it, that's for sure! I am thriving in my foster home but really want a home to call my own. Might you be that special family?
Lexi loves kids, other dogs, cats and can be trusted to roam free in her new home. No crate needed and Lexi would prefer a companion animal. Lexi will not do well left outside all day as she has the potential to be an escape artist. She also does not do well shut in rooms. As long as Lexi is with other dogs and humans she is great. But left shut up and to her own entertainment, she has the potential to get destructive. She has a bit of anxiety being shut away but after a shelter experience, who wouldn't?
Lexi could still gain a few pounds but likes her slender physique. Not much bothers our little loo hoo! Lexi is a snuggle bunny and will be your forever lap dog if you let her. Lexi is HW positive but please do not let that stand in the way of falling in love as GSRA will take care of getting her treated while you have the fun and important experience of bonding with Lexi loo hoo!
Lexi loo hoo checking in! I've just finished my HW treatment and ready for my furrever home. My foster mom says I'm a snuggler and a keeper. Lexi is a small version of a shepherd but knows all there is about being a sheppie girl. I love my people and get along with other dogs and cats! Just check out my photos. My foster family loves me!
Lexi loo hoo here, ringing in the new year with wishes for terrific 2014! I wish for a furrever home with a younger male companion. My best bud in my foster family is an 18 month old terrier/Gsd mix, named Rascal. I love to play with him in my fenced backyard! I am getting to be quite the buff little lady. Interested?
