German Shepherd Dog / Husky / Mixed : : Female : : Adult

Date Posted: 7/28/2012 I found this dog a month ago and have exhausted all means of finding her original owner, including putting an ad in the newspaper, posting signs in all the vets offices and knocking on doors in the neighborhood near where she was found. She had a collar on from 1-800-HELP4PETS, but the owner had never registered her. She was of a good weight and her nails had been trimmed. She is house trained and crate trained and has not had one accident in my home. I have been keeping her indoors, but letting her out in a fenced in yard to use the bathroom. During the day when I'm at work, she stays in a crate and goes into it willingly. She is very obedient and loyal and I have noticed that she has had some training. She can sit, lay and shake (most of the time) and when she walks beside me, she tends to watch me and reach up to my hand like she's looking for a treat. I have taken her for walks and she does very well on a leash. She love s to be brushed and sits beside me and LOVES her belly rubbed. I do not know if she has been fixed, but she has not gone into heat since I've had her. I would love to keep her, but I have 2 dogs and a cat and just want her to go to a loving home. She plays well with my other animals and does not bother my cat. She loves to get treats after going outside. PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A GSRA DOG. ONLY CONTACT THIS INDIVIDUAL ABOUT THIS DOG.
