Is she seriously 9 years old? That's what I said when I met Myra! As soon as I met her I opened the back of my SUV up and she jumped right in and sat down like she owend that car herself! She's 9 years old going on 3! This is the most active senior I've ever met! When Myra was first given to me I was told that she was originally given into the rescue at 6 years old and when a vet looked at her, her teeth reflected that she was probably older. So as her foster mommy I believe she is closer to six years then nine!
She sleeps in her crate or next to our bed, she's fully trust worthy in our house. It took a couple days for her to prove it but once she did she's been great! She runs and plays, follows us around the house contstantly. She's a velcro dog for sure! We have a two year old going on three that can kick any dogs butt in a play match. Except Myra. She came in once tried to mount Myra and she laid his mout flat on his behind! And it's been that way eversince! She's not an aggressive dog till a male tries to mount her. But after keeping them seperated for a couple days they're back to their normal bouncing selves!
She does not have a high prey drive! Though she interested in cats! We have two cats and she likes to follow them around the house and be near them. If they run she will chase but to play not to hurt! She loves to play. She is a very mature four year old puppy. Still loves to play but also likes her nap and chill time. She does not have any destructive habits but she likes to take my husband's military socks and likes to sleep with them on her doggy bed. Idk why but she doesn't eat them just likes to have them with her I guess.
More about Myra
Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids
Special Needs: Myra takes an anti-inflamatory medicine for a very common lumbar issue and as long as she remains on this medicine, she shows no signs of slowing down at all. As long as she's on her medicine she acts like a four year old.
