Meet Loki, a 7 month old GSD mix who loves to explore! If Loki was a super hero, he would be called Loki the Adventurer.

 

Loki loves to chase around his sister Blondie but even more, he loves to shadow his older foster brother. He is the first the dive into a wrestling match with the older dogs who play quite roughly and tends to be the last one to stop playing. He's up for anything!

Loki is being fostered in a home with three other dogs, two who are older GSD mixes and his foster sister Blondie. Blondie and Loki love to rough and tumble all day between the puppy play area and the great outdoors. He is working diligently on housetraining and is 99% crate trained. Loki sleep soundly through the night and will quietly lay in his crate when his foster family is gone. He loves chewies and tennis balls. This boy is quickly getting the hang of fetch - just as long as his sister doesn't steal the tennis ball. His leash skills are improving - he is very food motivated and easily pays attention when a treat is involved. Loki is going to be a big dog - at 30lbs at just 3 months old, this boy also loves his meals. A growing boy has to eat :)

Loki has learned to sit patiently for his food or water bowl to be filled. He LOVES water - except when it is mixed with soap and involves a bath :) He flips water bowls and plays in puddles with great glee. During a recent rain shower, Loki braved the outside to catch rain drops and bark at the puddles moving. He knows "sit" "down" and we are working on him coming when called. He easily follows what the older dogs are doing and would do wonderfully in a home with a furry sibling or two!
