There is a rehoming fee associated with the adoption of Luna.
Luna is a 6-7 year old, female, GSD. She was rescued several years ago from a puppy mill in Louisiana. She has had at least one litter before in her life. She also has worn down teeth in the front but it does not hinder her from eating or drinking food and water. She is a very loving, compassionate, light heart dog, who is loyal! She attaches to her owners, and will fit in, in an array of environments. She did suffer from heart worms, but since 2020 has been on constant heart worm prevention. She is also up to date on flea and tick medication and rabies shot. She has lived in apartments and on land, and did fine in both. Because of her kindhearted personality she would not be a good fit for her to be a protection dog or guard dog. She would excel as a therapy dog, or a general family pet. She is excellent with children of all ages, including babies. She is great with other dogs, including small dogs, only if she feels like she is backed into a corner does she display negative, outlashing’s. It is unknown if she is good with cats. She loves being outdoors and is good in public. She knows basic commands, but she is not a fan of kennels due to her puppy mill history (we assume). She is house trained but does get into the trash occasionally. Her owners are no longer able to keep up with her grooming needs, training, and general needs (for personal reasons) and would love for her to go to a loving family.
