Sweet Dixie and her siblings found themselves in a pickle after their owner decided they were no longer wanted. A kind neighbor took in the rowdy bunch, got some adopted to great families and GSRA stepped in to take the remaining babies. Dixie is a typical GSD rough player, she’s almost house trained, keeps her crate dry every night and pees every time she goes outside. She just needs to work on bladder control as she ages. She also sleeps through the night quietly in her crate. She’s an excellent car rider and starting to work on leash walking. Dixie loves to play with her foster siblings and explore the yard. She appears to be a confident girl and would be fine with a companion dog (male preferred) or as an only dog with frequent play dates to help her continue to work on her social skills. Dixie is a big puppy and will grow to be a larger than normal female gsd (80ish lbs). She’s still very young with huge paws and currently weighs almost 30lbs. Dixie will be fine with small dogs and/or cats but ONLY if they will interact with her, as she expects every living thing to be her friend. Come meet this adorable girl soon.
