Meet Faith, a very sweet and loving girl.   We believe her to be approximately 4 years old.   Faith’s owners brought her to the shelter after they bought a puppy. The puppy and Faith didn’t get along so her owners put Faith outside and neglected her.  By the time the owners dumped her in the shelter she was covered in fleas, had lost most her of hair on the back half of her body and had demodex mange.  She was also riddled with worms and parasites, One look at her and you could tell what a miserable life she had.

As luck had it, Faith wound up at a great shelter who saw what an incredible girl she was and reached out to rescue for help.  That sweet face and sad eyes just sucked us all in.     At first Faith wasn’t feeling well, so a trip to the vet was in order.  She was placed on medication, medicated baths and good food.  With a lot of love and attention, Faith has really blossomed.  She really has one of the most incredible personalities we have ever seen.  She is extremely affectionate and just wants love and attention and she is so grateful for anything you do for her.

Once in her foster home, she has shown to be very eager to please and has learned her commands.   Faith loves her pack walks and is now part of the foster pack.  She is incredibly adaptable and wicked smart.  We can’t say enough wonderful things about this sweet girl.  She does well with other dogs - she is very tolerant and likes to play chase with certain dogs.  She has gotten spunky and it’s so wonderful to see how happy she is now.

Faith is great with Linus, the annoying training cat.  She is comfortable with him but she doesn’t seek him out.  She would do well with calm, mature cats.  We think younger energetic kittens might be too much for her.

We don’t know if Faith was exposed to children in her previous life.    But, she would probably do well with children over 16.  Faith doesn’t like busy/crazy activity or loud noises.  She would prefer a calm and relaxed household.

Faith would be an amazing companion.  She loves to ride in the car.  She is obedience, leash and crate trained.  She is spayed, UTD on vaccines and currently undergoing heartworm treatment.  Sh e is undergoing heart worm treatment and will be ready for adoption in about a month.

Faith’s ideal home would be a quiet home with experienced dog owners who love affection and want a constant companion.  A fenced in yard is a must.
