GERMAN SHEPHERD RESCUE & ADOPTIONS
Adopting in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. Dear GSRA Supporters,
Oh, I know—I’m a bit late kicking off our annual fundraiser this year! But what a year it’s been! GSRA has been incredibly fortunate to have the most amazing volunteers, supporters, and adopters. You all stepped up in October when we called on you to help struggling Western North Carolina shelters after Hurricane Helene. And wow, did you ever answer that call! Because of your generosity, we were able to provide each of those shelters with a $4,500 check. (I promise, their heartwarming stories are coming your way this month!)
We completely understand if you gave to that cause and aren’t in a position to donate again right now. Supporting those WNC shelters was important and we knew it might affect our usual winter fundraiser. Typically, we aim to raise $30,000 this time of year, but this season we’ve set our goal at $10,000, knowing we’ve already asked a lot of you.
If you can donate, we are beyond grateful. If you can’t, we’d love your help spreading the word—sharing this fundraiser on social media or with friends makes such a difference. Your support, whether it’s through your time, generosity, or simply sharing our mission, means the world to us.
As winter settles in, we wish you and your family a season filled with warmth, safety, and joy. No matter what holiday you celebrate, may it be full of love, laughter, and—of course—German Shepherds!
As donations come in, we will decorate our winter scene with holiday cheer!
